WHAT WE COLLECT: When you use our website, request a quote, or are added to our systems we may collect contact information (name, email, phone number, postal address); quote and insurance details needed to provide quotes and coverage (for example date of birth, driver’s license number, vehicle or property details, claims history and coverage preferences); communications and uploads you provide (messages, documents, photos); device and usage information (IP address, browser type, pages visited, cookies and pixels); and text/SMS data (phone number and consent status if you’re registered in our AMS). We do not collect usernames or passwords.
PAYMENT NOTE: We do not store or process payment card information. If you make a payment, payment details are provided to and handled by the insurance carrier or a third-party payment processor. HOW WE USE INFORMATION: We use personal information to provide quotes, issue and service insurance policies, handle claims, communicate about quotes/policies/renewals/claims, share necessary information with carriers so they can underwrite and bill, improve our website and services, prevent fraud and comply with legal or regulatory obligations, and to run and measure advertising and analytics.
TEXTS (SMS) AND AMS: If you are added to our system, you may receive texts about your quote or policy. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting team@revoninsurance.com. Standard message and data rates may apply. We use third-party vendors to send texts and store related SMS data.
ADVERTISING AND COOKIES: We use cookies, pixels (for example Google and Meta pixels) and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. We are not currently running ads, but we may direct ads to a quote form on our site in the future. You can manage cookie settings through your browser and opt out of many ad networks through their opt-out tools (for example Google Ad Settings, Facebook/Meta Ad Preferences, or AdChoices).
WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH: We share data as needed with insurance carriers and policy administrators (for underwriting, billing and claims), our AMS and other vendors who provide hosting, analytics, communications or support services, professional advisors and auditors, and regulators when required by law. We may also share data with a buyer or successor if the business is sold. We require vendors to protect data and to process it only as we instruct. We do not share or sell personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
SECURITY & RETENTION: We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal data. We retain information only as long as necessary for business or legal purposes; for insurance records this is commonly several years. If you’d like more specific retention details, we can add them.
